From the first printed part to support in the field, the same ten people handle it. No outsourcing the things that matter.
CDT FakeDrones ApS is a Copenhagen-based manufacturer of interceptor uncrewed aerial systems. We started in 2021 with a simple idea: that 3D printing lets a small team build capable, affordable drones quickly and repair them close to where they're used.
Today we're ten people across three countries. Our headquarters, R&D, and final assembly are in Copenhagen. We have a subsidiary in Toulouse that handles materials work and European paperwork, and a subsidiary in Lviv that runs forward production, testing, and support close to where our drones actually fly.
We're deliberately small. Everyone here builds, tests, or supports the product — there's no layer of management between the people doing the work and the customer.

A few things we believe in. Some of these we do better than others — we're honest about being a young company that's still tightening things up.
We take quality seriously and we're working towards formal certification as we grow. Customers increasingly ask whether we're ISO 9001 certified — we're not there yet, but it's on our roadmap and we're putting the groundwork in place.
If you have specific quality or compliance questions, get in touch and we'll answer them directly.
